The Data Analyst is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality analytical insights that support business decision-making. This includes a wide range of deliverables such as sales and performance reporting, campaign and marketing analytics, dealer and customer insights, and the creation of dashboards and data visualizations to enable clear and effective consumption of data.
The Impact You'll Have:
In this role, you will conduct both strategic and ad hoc analyses to support overall business strategy, inform day-to-day decisions, and provide deeper insight into customer behavior, marketing effectiveness, and business performance trends, both historical and forward-looking. You will partner closely with business stakeholders to identify analytical needs, understand key challenges, and translate business questions into actionable insights while collaborating with data and analytics teams to deliver impactful results.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as the organization's Power BI subject matter expert, designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-grade dashboards, reports, and data models that support critical business decisions.
  • Establish Power BI best practices, governance standards, and reporting frameworks to ensure consistency, scalability, and data accuracy across all business reporting.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to translate complex business needs into intuitive Power BI dashboards and self-service analytics solutions.
  • Optimize Power BI performance through advanced data modeling, DAX calculations, report tuning, and efficient integration with BigQuery and other data sources.
  • Develop and deliver sales, marketing, and business performance reporting through advanced Power BI dashboards, data models, and visualizations that enable self-service analytics and data-driven decision making.
  • Analyze campaign performance, customer behavior, and business trends to generate actionable insights and recommendations
  • Perform both strategic and ad hoc analyses to support business strategy, day to day operations, and future forecasting
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand key challenges, define analytical needs, and translate business questions into data driven solutions
  • Query, manipulate, and automate large datasets using tools such as SQL, BigQuery, and Alteryx to ensure accurate and efficient data processing
  • Build and maintain performance metrics and reporting frameworks for service, customer, and program analytics
  • Present findings and insights through clear visualizations, reports, and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences while collaborating with multi-functional teams
  • Navigate and utilize modern cloud environments, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Big Query, to manage large-scale data operations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve data quality issues, partnering with business owners to fix problems at the source rather than just managing symptoms.
  • Translate technical solution concepts into clear, simple narratives that help clients and internal teams understand the "so what" behind the numbers.
  • Develop scripts and automated workflows to replace manual reporting, increasing the speed and accuracy of our analytic delivery.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to keep our analytics stack efficient and forward-looking.
  • Partner with strategy and delivery teams to align your analytic deliverables with the client's broader business goals and evolving needs.

What You'll Need
  • A degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Math, CS, Economics, Physics) or equivalent technical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, with a proven track record in data wrangling, modeling, and measurement.
  • 2-4+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience with a proven track record of building executive-level dashboards, KPI frameworks, and scalable reporting solutions.
  • Experience developing and maintaining enterprise reporting solutions, KPI frameworks, and business performance dashboards within Power BI.
  • Background in financial analytics or experience working within integrated marketing, digital agency, or consulting environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical peers and leadership.
  • Inventive and quick learner, with the ability to efficiently seek out, learn, and apply new areas of expertise, as needed
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaborate
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (English) -Strategic and clear thinking to translate discreet and sophisticated ideas to get results
  • Attention to detail with a strong aim to implement common standards
  • Excellent Data Wrangling skills - Ability to query, join, manipulate data (e.g., create new variables as needed), automate processes.
  • Experience analyzing business and marketing program performance (e.g., response, sales, incremental sales, net profit, customer profiling)
  • Expert-level Power BI experience, including advanced dashboard development, data modeling, DAX, report optimization, workspace management, security implementation, and best practice governance. Strong knowledge of SQL, BigQuery, Alteryx, GCP, Qlik, AI tools, and Microsoft Office.

Future-Ready Skills (Nice to Have)
  • Familiarity with automotive services, vehicles sales, parts business, subscription services, loyalty program data, etc. (not required)
  • Experience meeting with clients directly to understand business needs and discuss findings.
  • Ability to organize findings for business consumption create PowerPoints containing graphs and insights
  • Knowledge of Python or R for advanced statistical modeling or process automation.
