Job description

As we continue to expand our U.S. manufacturing operations, we are seeking a Quality Controller to support our commitment to safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

The Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory and company requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining consistent product quality by inspecting, testing, and monitoring production processes, identifying defects, and driving corrective and preventive actions across manufacturing operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, inprocess items, and finished products to verify compliance with quality specifications.
  • Monitor production processes to identify deviations from standards and recommend or implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of inspections, test results, nonconformances, and quality reports.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, internal quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating quality control procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
  • Participate in internal audits and support customer or regulatory audits as required.
  • Provide guidance and training to production staff on quality standards, inspection methods, and best practices.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying conditions.

Basic Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employmentbased sponsorship is not available.
  • High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and documentation requirements.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality standards. 
  • Basic computer literacy, including data entry and use of manufacturing or production systems (e.g., MES, ERP).
  • Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and consistent attendance.
  • Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to use measurement tools, inspection devices, and testing equipment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, documentation, and reporting.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and standards such as ISO, GMP, or similar regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Prior experience in battery manufacturing or regulated manufacturing environments.
