You can expect to work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure parts meet specifications, and often collaborate with tool and die makers for specialized setups. The role is hands-on and may involve standing for extended periods, but offers the satisfaction of seeing tangible results from your technical skills. With experience, there may be opportunities to move into setup, lead, or supervisory positions within manufacturing.
