Job description

Job Summary
Provides operational and administrative support to licensed brokers and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of Medicare enrollment applications.  Serves as the key point of contact for broker inquiries, assists with issue resolution, and helps ensure compliance with CMS regulations and company policies.  Works cross-functionally to support enrollment, eligibility verification, and broker-facing processes that enhance the overall member and broker experience.  

Skills
1. Strong knowledge of Medicare products, enrollment processes and CMS guidelines.  
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn systems.
3. Possess a high level of interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work on issues of a sensitive nature.
5. Strong attention to detail.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.  
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
8. Bilingual: English and Spanish is preferred.

Work Experience
Three years of experience with Medicare sales, Medicare enrollment, or processing Medicare applications is required.  

License/Registration/Certification
Current and valid driver’s license is required.
Current and active Health Insurance Sales license issued through the Texas Department of Insurance required.
Maintains educational requirements for the Federally-facilitated Marketplace (i.e. AHIP).
Must be certified to provide benefit information to EPH Medicare Products within 90 days of being in the position is required.

Education and Training
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
