Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at theUniversity of New Mexico (UNM) in Albuquerque is seeking pediatricanesthesia-trained anesthesiologists for full-time Clinician Educator Track,Assistant/Associate/Professor to teach and practice at UNM Children's Hospital.Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine comprises of 50 facultyanesthesiologists, 31 residents, 6 fellows, and 41 CRNA/CAAs covering 28operating rooms, and 7 NORA locations, and perform 24,000+ anesthesia cases ayear.

Leadership opportunities are available within the Division,Department and at the University level. Faculty development program includingformal mentorship is available to help launch your academic career. Our pediatric anesthesiologists work closely withpediatric medicine and surgical specialists in a collegial environment that fosterscollaboration. The UNM Hospitals through the Division of PediatricAnesthesiology, provide over 7,000 anesthetics per year to the children of NewMexico. UNM Children's Hospital is State's only Children's Miracle NetworkHospital and a quaternary medical referral center. It is States only 52 beddedlevel IV Neonatal ICU and 20 bedded Pediatric ICU with Level I Trauma Center.At UNM School of Medicine we are committed to providing a superior training toour young physicians while providing excellent care to New Mexico's mostvulnerable patients.
