Job description

ABOUT US
Rythm is the fastest-growing lab in America. We redefined at-home testing with the world's easiest blood test and created a culture around monthly lab testing from home. We've processed millions of tests across all 50 states, and we do everything in-house, from sample testing and logistics to code, marketing, and design. That vertical integration gives us the speed, control, and creativity to shape the future of health and wellness.
THE ROLE
We're looking for an exceptional Web Designer to own and elevate our digital experience across web. This is a highly hands-on role for a designer with strong visual instincts, deep UX/UI expertise, and a portfolio that demonstrates the ability to create polished, intuitive, high-performing consumer experiences.
You'll work cross-functionally with Brand, Growth, Product, and Engineering to translate business goals and brand strategy into thoughtful digital experiences. The ideal candidate brings a strong point of view, sweats the details, and understands how great design can simultaneously strengthen a brand, simplify the customer journey, and drive conversion.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Own web design from concept through final execution across the website, landing pages, campaigns, launches, and other digital experiences.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and production-ready assets in Figma.
  • Design beautiful, intuitive experiences across desktop and mobile.
  • Translate brand identity into a cohesive and distinctive digital experience.
  • Develop and evolve scalable design systems, components, and patterns.
  • Partner closely with Growth and Marketing to design landing pages and experiences optimized for engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate with developers throughout implementation, providing clear design specifications and ensuring the final experience meets the intended design.
  • Use customer behavior, performance data, testing, and feedback to continuously improve the site experience.
  • Balance brand storytelling, usability, and commercial goals when making design decisions.
  • Maintain an exceptionally high bar for typography, hierarchy, layout, interaction, and visual consistency.
  • Stay current on emerging web design, UX/UI, e-commerce, and digital design trends.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 5+ years of experience in web, digital, UX/UI, or product design, ideally within a consumer-facing or high-growth brand.
  • An exceptional portfolio demonstrating sophisticated web design, strong visual craft, and thoughtful UX/UI decision-making.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma.
  • Experience designing consumer websites, landing pages, and conversion-focused digital experiences.
  • Strong understanding of design systems and component-based design.
  • Excellent typography, composition, hierarchy, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Experience partnering closely with developers and creating clean, implementation-ready design files.
  • Ability to move quickly, manage multiple priorities, and iterate without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate the thinking behind design decisions.
  • A high level of taste and attention to detail.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
Rythm Health offers a benefits package which includes:
  • Highly competitive base salary.
  • Equity: meaningful equity stake aligned with the scope and seniority of this role.
  • Flexible, remote-friendly work environment.
  • Meaningful work that genuinely impacts people's lives.
  • Monthly Rythm Health membership with full access to at-home blood testing and personalized health insights.
  • Unlimited vacation policy.
  • 401(k).
  • The opportunity to help define the future of personalized health.
  • High ownership and visibility from day one.
  • Small, collaborative, mission-driven team.
  • Ability to shape both product and design culture early.
