About Us

Hancock Aviation is a top-tier aviation services company specializing in the maintenance, sales, and management of private and corporate aircraft. As our operation continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Quality Manager / Chief Inspector to build and lead our quality organization.

Job Description

The Quality Manager / Chief Inspector is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the company's quality control system, including all manuals, procedures, inspection authority, and regulatory correspondence. This position leads our FAA Part 145 certification effort from application through issuance and continues to own the quality system as the company expands scope. The role carries final inspection authority independent of production and reports directly to the President.

  • Conduct internal audits and manage the corrective action system

  • Approve and audit vendors and outside repair sources

  • Own maintenance records for accuracy, completeness, retention, and traceability

  • Administer receiving inspection for parts and material

  • Investigate discrepancies, escalations, and customer quality concerns

Qualifications
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (Required)

  • Five or more years in a Part 145 environment, with at least two in inspection or quality

  • Demonstrated ability to write procedures acceptable to the FAA

  • Ability to maintain inspection independence under production and schedule pressure

  • Strong written communication and technical documentation skills

  • Inspection Authorization (Preferred)

  • Prior Chief Inspector or Quality Manager designation (Preferred)

  • Turbine corporate aircraft experience such as Honda HA-420, Cessna Citation, King Air, or Pilatus (Preferred)

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary based on certification experience

  • Comprehensive benefits package

  • Paid time off and paid holidays
