Salary: $58,000 - $160,000 USD per annum (pro-rata)

Waga Energy is seeking a meticulous and highly organised Junior Typist and Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a part-time, fully remote position offering the flexibility of day or night shift work. The successful candidate will provide crucial clerical and administrative support, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our daily activities. You will play an integral role in a company dedicated to making a significant environmental impact. Responsibilities
  • Accurately type, format, and edit a variety of documents, including reports, technical specifications, and general correspondence.
  • Perform high-volume data entry with exceptional speed and accuracy, maintaining our databases and filing systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, spreadsheets, and other corporate documents.
  • Manage and organise digital files, ensuring all records are kept current and are easily accessible to relevant team members.
  • Provide general administrative support, such as handling email queries and assisting with scheduling tasks.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all company and client information.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments and time zones to support operational needs.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a typist, data entry, or administrative support role.
  • Excellent typing speed and a high level of accuracy are essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace.
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanour.
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote environment.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • An interest in the renewable energy or environmental sector is highly desirable but not essential.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
