Los Angeles county CA | Full-Time | PALS, Inc.
PALS, Inc. is a trauma-informed company providing services for adults with intellectual Disabilities in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and Ventura counties. We are currently seeking a professional to provide full or part-time hours as the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for our Santa Barbara day program office as well as for our residential facility located in Carpinteria.
We're seeking a compassionate and skilled clinician who is familiar with and/or willing to learn about the philosophy and practice of person-centered care. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Your service area will we the Santa Barbara and/or the Carpinteria programs. We Some work may be performed remotely. Some driving required.
What You'll Do

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
  • Create and oversee individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
  • Train and support direct support staff and caregivers
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (e.g., case managers, nurses, therapists)
  • Monitor data and outcomes, modifying interventions as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards
What We're Looking For
  • Active BCBA certification
  • Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • Experience supporting individuals with trauma preferred
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
