Job description

Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Program Manager SME to provide support for the Executive Airlift Communications Network (EACN) support task order, which provides Command, Control, Communications (C3) services for multiple critical U.S. Government missions via multiple Air to Global Information Grid (GIG) Gateways (A2G2's) supported by a Systems Integration Lab (SIL).

This is a full-time position located on-site at Scott Air Force Base (SAFB), in Belleville, IL. With telework capabilities approx. 1-2 days a week - per the customer's discretion. 

*** This position is contingent upon contract award.***

Responsibilities
  • Designated a Task Lead as a Point of Contact (POC) responsible for the overall management and performance of the PWS. The task lead shall be responsible for all requirements of the contract.
  • Supervising personnel at Joint Base Andrews, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, and Scott Air Force Base.
  • Provide Program Management Reviews (PMRs) to the Government EACN Program Manager, herein referred to as EACN PM, and key stakeholders in person, on an annual basis, focusing on the main deliverables reflected in the PWS.
  • Maintain the Projects Status List containing milestones, project POC, and status. 
  • Maintain a Project Checklist for every project on the Project Status List. The Project Checklist shall be available for EACN PM review and updated throughout the progress of the project.
  • Compile, edit, and submit Monthly Status Report (MSR).
  • Metrics and Reporting shall be established, maintained, and reported on each area of the services summary and reported in the Monthly Status Report.
  • Support the production environment by adhering to Government standards. This support includes: Ensuring the production configuration baseline(s) of all hardware and software are maintained as prescribed by the network's production configuration baselines.
  • Responsible for providing, when directed, White Papers, network installation and configuration disaster recovery plan, and maintaining configuration management plan. 
Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI level clearance 

Certifications: PMP certification (or able to obtain within the first 6 months of employment) Education: Bachelor's Degree Years of Experience: Twenty-five (25) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline; to include fifteen (15) years of DoD experienceAdditional Experience:

  • Experience supporting the Executive Airlift Communications Network (EACN)
  • Senior Leader Command, Control, Communications Systems-Airborne (SLC3S-A) Operations

Preferred Qualifications:Education: Master's Degree Years of Experience: Twenty (20) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline; to include twelve (12) years of DoD experience
