As a Direct Support Specialist, you'll provide hands-on support, lead engaging activities, and help participants develop daily living, social, communication, vocational, and community skills. This is a great opportunity for someone who is patient, dependable, and passionate about helping others succeed.

What You'll Do:

  • Support adults in day program and community-based activities.
  • Help participants build independence, communication, social, vocational, and daily living skills.
  • Lead or assist with group activities, community outings, and skill-building lessons.
  • Follow individual support plans and document progress.
  • Promote safety, dignity, choice, and inclusion for every participant.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of high school degree or GED.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a willingness to use an agency vehicle during employment.
  • Must meet Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check requirements
  • MAP Certification (Medication Administration training) and First Aid certifications arerequired.

Schedule:

Full-time and Part-Time, Monday-Friday positions available.
