Job description

We are looking for a PCA to work 18 hours per week at LIFE, Inc. - Goldsboro. This job pays $17.50 per hour, with payments made every two weeks. The position is based in Goldsboro, NC. The work schedule is 6 hours a day, 3 days a week, but hours may increase. This job could be a great option for retirees who want to earn extra income.
Responsibilities
  • Drive the client to and from the day program.
  • Help the client based on their personal care plan.
  • Assist and watch clients during meals to help with family-style dining.
  • Help clients with cleaning clothes, keeping the house tidy, and yard work.
  • Assist with preparing meals and nutritional supplements.
  • Help clients take their prescribed medicines carefully and without mistakes.
  • Support clients in following diet plans and using any special equipment.
  • Follow any behavior plans and safety rules.
  • Help clients with active treatments, including training and tracking their progress.
  • Work with the care team and share important information as asked by supervisors.
  • Help clients during outings in the community.
  • Support clients during school and day program activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • You must have at least a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid North Carolina driver's license is required.
  • You must be 21 years old or older.
