Position: Day Program Instructor/Direct Support Professional
Location: Concord, CA
Hours: Monday-Friday: 37.5 hours per week.
  • (CAP) 8:00am-3:30pm OR
  • (GMC) 8:30am-4:00pm

Looking for a role where you can truly make an impact while having fun? As an Instructor I in Concord, you'll be at the heart of our mission, supporting adults with disabilities in achieving their personal goals through engaging, hands-on activities. From arts and crafts to community outings like bowling and movie trips, no two days are the same. Plus, you'll help with daily care needs and keep track of participant progress-making this role both rewarding and dynamic!
What You'll Do:
  • Lead a variety of exciting activities, from arts and crafts and music to cooking classes and holiday parties.
  • Provide verbal and physical support for daily activities, both in-house and in the community.
  • Assist with personal care needs, including bathroom assistance, changing adult briefs, and feeding support.
  • Implement lesson plans, collect valuable data, and track participant progress to ensure program success.

What We're Looking For:
  • Must Have: A valid CA driver's license and a good driving record.

Employer-paid benefits:
Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, and LTD insurance valued at approximately $424.84 per pay period (about $5.23 per hour)
Paid time off:

โ€ข Up to 2 weeks of paid jury duty
Retirement:

Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS rate for approved business travel.
Required business use of a personal cell phone is reimbursed through a semi monthly stipend.
