Day Program Instructor for Adults with Developmental Disabilities - Newbury Park

Employment Information
  • Location: Newbury Park, CA

  • Full & Part-Time: $20 / hour

  • Mileage reimbursement

  • $10/month cell phone stipend

  • Weekdays 7Am - 4PM

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead and support participants in health and wellness activities such as:

    • Exercise classes with certified trainers

    • Yoga sessions with certified instructors

    • Cooking Classes focused on nutrition

    • Health education and healthy eating habits

  • Participate in community outings using company vans or public transportation

  • Collaborate with participants on a personalized curriculum tailored to each participantsโ€™ goal - mindful of academics, socialization, and more

  • Record keep progress of care plan


Who Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Someone who is compassionate with a person-centered mindset

  • Someone who is encouraging, able to guide, and support participants in a respectful manner

  • A valid driverโ€™s license

  • CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if youโ€™re not certified or need to be recertified)
