What You'll Do as a Day Program Professional
As a Day Program Professional, you will support individuals in a structured daytime setting, leading engaging activities, building skills, and promoting independence and community inclusion.
Daily Responsibilities
  • Lead structured activities including social, recreational, and community-based programming
  • Support individuals in building independence, social skills, and daily living skills
  • Implement individual service plans and support progress toward personal goals
  • Ensure health, safety, and dignity of individuals during program hours, transportation, and community outings
  • Provide personal care and administer medications as needed (training provided)
  • Promote inclusion and positive community engagement
  • Utilize crisis prevention and intervention strategies to support individuals safely
  • Complete required documentation including daily logs and incident reports
  • Transport individuals and supervise activities in community settings
