Job description

The Production Associate is responsible for reading work orders, identifying door specifications, and preparing materials to support production operations. This role involves fabricating and assembling fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products while maintaining quality standards, operational efficiency, and workplace safety throughout the manufacturing process.

Success in this role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, safe material handling, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm (overtime as business requires).

Pay: $21.50/hr+

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read work orders to determine door specifications and required components.
  • Locate, pull, and modify door slabs and parts to meet custom order specifications.
  • Use hand and power tools, including routers, saws, drills, and nailers, to fabricate and assemble fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products.
  • Move doors and materials between production stations, including handling products weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Inspect completed work for defects, production errors, and quality concerns while making necessary corrections.
  • Perform shop cleanup, light maintenance, and other assigned duties to support daily production operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following established safety procedures and operational standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations-oriented environment preferred.

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory result on a pre-employment drug screening
