Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU registered nurse (RN) to join our peri-anesthesia care unit team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the recovery of patients following surgical procedures. Your expertise in assessing patient conditions, monitoring vital signs, and providing post-operative care will directly contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor patients' post-surgery and assess their condition, including vital signs, consciousness, and pain levels.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding post-surgical care and recovery.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care and smooth transitions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Current RN license in CA or the ability to obtain one
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • BLS, PALS and ACLS certification required
  • Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing care principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Compensation and Benefits:

This position pays a competitive rate of $59.00-80.00+ per hour depending on the level of experience. We offer a full suite of benefits including 401k with company match, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as voluntary Aflac plans. We have a generous PTO schedule and our staff enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule with paid holidays.
