Overview

We are an independent, global, one-stop-shop focused on delivering Central Laboratory Services that are tailor-made, timely and flexible to meet the evolving study demands of traditional to increasingly complex trials. Additionally, we provide Functional Service Provider (FSP) Solutions, supporting our clients with scientific and technical expertise, acting as an extension of their team, coordinating all laboratory related needs, advising on strategies for lab data collection and providing end-to-end analytical and logistical solutions.
Job Summary
The Clinical Data and Laboratory Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely reporting of clinical laboratory data, encompassing both the double data entry of study data from sites via Local Laboratory reports and ongoing communication with internal departments regarding sample testing. This role collaborates with Project Management, Data Management, Site Support Services, Laboratory Integration Team and Laboratory Services to ensure prompt, accurate reporting of results and maintenance of study data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assists with double data entry of protocol study data, ensuring accuracy and consistency within the LIMS.
  • Communicates with Laboratory Services regarding ongoing testing of clinical trial samples.
  • Works different queues within the LIMS and associated clinical trials management software (e.g., Criticals/Cancellations, Overdue/Pending list, ARUP eExcepts, MayoLINK).
  • Investigates pending laboratory results approaching or exceeding anticipated turnaround time to ensure prompt reporting.
  • Collaborates with LIS, LIT, and Laboratory Services resources to resolve issues preventing laboratory results from being imported, reported, and/or released.
  • Assists with digital accessing of reports and filing under appropriate study folders.
  • Communicates with internal team members about updates, corrections, or urgent requests for results.
  • Answers internal and external email requests in a timely manner.
  • Performs problem resolution and investigation; opens and closes Jira tickets when requested.
  • Stays current on SOPs relevant to job duties.
  • Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or assigned.

Education and Experience
  • Two-year college or university program certificate preferred.
