DIPTYQUE Paris Luxury Fragrance House has established itself as one of the most renowned, leading fragrance houses within the luxury market today. Founded in 1961, the Maison is known for its mix of iconic scented candles, personal fragrances, bath and body products, and home decor. Its flagship boutique is in Paris' 5th arrondissement at 34 Boulevard Saint Germain.

The Stock and Operations Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the store's inventory and stock areas as per Company standards and will support the Store Manager and/or Asst Store Manager with the operational performance of the store. This includes but is not limited to minimizing stock loss, maintaining organized records, ordering supplies, adhering to housekeeping standards, handling merchandise appropriately, controlling expenses, and safeguarding company assets by following proper inventory control procedures.

The Stock Associate will be flexible to support the sales floor as needed and move seamlessly between function, holding high standards within both environments.

Tasks And Responsibilities

Inspire and motivate the team by leading by example

Ensure that all shipping and receiving functions that affect the store inventory are processed accurately and efficiently

Maintain an orderly, neat stock and receiving area as well as the general maintenance of the store

Ensure the accurate processing of all inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, transfers and damages based on Company policies and procedures

Support the compliance of receiving practices with established Company policies and standards, such as safekeeping of Company funds and property, personnel practices, security, and record-keeping procedures

Communicate with the corporate operations team

Demonstrate high levels of knowledge about our products and can fully represent the brand in the store. Staff need to articulate both the new and key ranges for the season

Be pro-active in using training tools provided Store Operations

Responsible for opening and closing checklist

Ensure full knowledge of cash desk procedures and processes

Be aware of all security and health and safety issues and requirements of the store

As a key holder for the store, ensure that all emergency calls are responded to and dealt with accordingly

In the absence of the Store Management team, be responsible for the management of all emergency situations involving the store and team members.

Be attentive to details and cleanliness of the boutique

Work with Management to manage maintenance within the store in a timely manner

Inventory control to include and not limited to delivery processing/ adjustments/ replenishment/transfers

Ensure accuracy and efficiency when processing outbound deliveries, including but not limited to client orders, store to store transfers, and RTVs

Complete quarterly OPS checklists and share action plan and results with SM/ASM

Maintain a clean and organized stockroom

Execute cycle counts

Responsible for the inventory result (shrink) twice a year including preparation and execution.

Responsible for accuracy and execution on a timely manner of all omnichannel services including but not limited to e-reservation, click and collect, messenger, engraving services

Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping

Assist in completing price changes within the boutique

Help solve problems and make informed decisions that affect the service, and productivity of the receiving area

Comply with all company policies and procedures

Participate in store meetings and training seminars as necessary

Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by any manager

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 years of experience in luxury retail industry, management preferred

Previous retail stock/shipping/receiving experience

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Be a team player and demonstrate ability to lead projects, tasks, etc.

Be assertive, dynamic and always have a "can do" and positive attitude

Be expertly groomed at all times as appearance must be able to reflect our company and store

Ability to handle receiving operations and manage stock levels effectively, including proper handling of merchandise

Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills

Ability to process information and merchandise through computer system

Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment

Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job, including phone systems, inventory-control computer systems, and all other office equipment

Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physical ability to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails heavy lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above
