Description
The Fox Theatre in Atlanta is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Ticket Office Associate.
Ticket Office Associates ensure that the customer service in the Ticket Office consistently exceeds expectations and that the customer service experience is positive and productive.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Sell Tickets at the Ticket Office window and distribute Will Call Tickets.
  • Disseminate information to Fox Theatre customers regarding event details via telephone, email, and in person.
  • Ensure that internal and external guests' ticketing needs are being met and exceeded.
  • Balance daily sales.
  • Other duties as directed.

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications:
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a ticketing environment is preferred
  • Must have a working knowledge of computers and cash handling
  • Should have experience working in an environment where customer service is a priority
  • Must have demonstrated competencies in the areas of oral communication, customer service, and professionalism

Essential Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain stationary for long periods of time
  • Must be able to communicate with guests in person and via telephone
  • Must be able to traverse the Ticket Office

Other Requirements:
  • Must be able to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Successful applicants must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screening and background check.
