Job description

Responsibilities:
Contribute to the continuous operation of the corrugator and achieving daily production goals.
Operate corrugator stacker, transfer cart and automatic strapper in a safe and competent manner.
Follow all company safety rules, lock-out procedures, and good housekeeping practices.
Maintain a high level of quality and productivity, count accuracy of material and unit appearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a high school graduate or have a GED.
Ability and willingness to work any shift, overtime hours and weekends as needed.
Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned facility.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, such as schedules and orders.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, stooping.
Must have an excellent attendance record.
Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work within a team and effectively communicate with others.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • Starting salary for position: $25.92 per hour.
  • Bonus: Annual - Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
  • Paid Vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.

  • Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
  • Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions
