About the Role
As a
Child Development Behavior Specialist at Blue Bird Day, you will provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children ages 2-7 years old with
autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. You'll foster each child's
cognitive, social, emotional, adaptive, and developmental growth through:
- Providing individualized therapy
- Collecting data on programming
- Implementing evidence-based intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Implementing developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans in our classrooms
- Collaborating daily with physical and speech therapists, and social workers
- Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care
Child Development Behavior Specialist Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Child Development or Early Education required
- Experience working with neurodivergent children preferred
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification preferred or willing to obtain
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: $50,000 - $52,000
