Job description

BULLDOZER OPERATOR
CWR Contracting, Inc. is a growing road construction company. We are seeking to fill a Bulldozer Operator position for our local operations.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate bulldozer to excavate, grade, level, and move soil, rock, asphalt, and other materials for roadway construction projects
  • Read and interpret grade stakes, plans, and slope indicators to achieve precise grading
  • Perform rough and finish grading for road subgrades, shoulders, ditches, and embankments
  • Assist in roadbed preparation, drainage installation, and slope stabilization
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance (lubrication, fueling, cleaning)
  • Identify mechanical issues and report needed repairs to supervisors
  • Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including assisting with other equipment or labor tasks as needed

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed
  • Able to complete all required paperwork efficiently
  • Must be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver's license
  • Employer conducts drug testing and background check
