Description:

Makers Air is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Vacation & Reservations Coordinator to manage Bahamas day trips, vacation rentals, hotel reservations, and curated travel packages. This role serves as a concierge-style point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless, high-touch experience from initial inquiry through post-travel follow-up. This position plays a key role in driving revenue through bookings while maintaining exceptional service standards across Makers Air and Staniel Cay Yacht Club

(SCYC) offerings.


Key Responsibilities:


Travel & Vacation Coordination

  • Coordinate Bahamas day trips, including flights, activities, and guest logistics
  • Design, quote, and manage customized vacation packages (flights, hotels, and experiences)
  • Support sales by converting inquiries and upselling additional services Reservations Management
  • Oversee the full hotel and cottage reservations process, ensuring timely responses and exceptional guest service
  • Manage cottage and vacation rental bookings, including deposits and issuing confirmations
  • Coordinate Makers Air flight bookings in conjunction with accommodations

Guest Experience & Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests from inquiry through post-travel follow-up
  • Proactively manage guest inquiries, concerns, special requests, and day-of travel issues
  • Coordinate guest details such as arrivals, celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons), and special accommodations (cribs, cots, etc.)
  • Review guest feedback and surveys, escalating issues as needed

Operations & Coordination

  • Process cancellations and no-shows in accordance with company policies
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room inventory, flight availability, and property events
  • Ensure accurate booking, payment, and guest records across systems
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:

โ€ข 2+ years of experience in hospitality, travel, tourism, or customer service

โ€ข Strong customer service mindset with a hospitality-driven approach

โ€ข Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

โ€ข Ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities in a fast-paced environment

โ€ข Experience with booking or reservation systems preferred
