Job description

Position Overview
We’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented Design/Showroom Assistant to support our design team and clients. This is a part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) with a flexible schedule. The role includes working 1 day per week in our downtown showroom and the remainder from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist designers with kitchen and bath design projects using Chief Architect software
  • Prepare and update design drawings, renderings, and project documentation
  • Support client presentations with design boards, samples, and showroom resources
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for product information, quotes, and sample requests
  • Maintains showroom inventory, displays and samples (during in-showroom day)
  • Provide general administrative and design support to the lead designers

 

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Chief Architect software is required
  • Degree (or working towards a degree) in interior design
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite, Adobe Suite software, Pinterest, social media formats, video conferencing.
  • Previous experience in kitchen and bath design (or related interior design field)
  • Strong eye for design, detail, and functionality
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Familiarity with cabinetry, finishes, and materials is a plus
