Augustine Consulting, Inc. is a Woman-Owned Small Business professional services provider of engineering and technical services to the United States Government. We seek a Logistics Analystto serve as a part of the Company's Government Programs team supporting CPE Ground for Project Manager Soldier Medical Devices (PM SMD).
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Logistics Analyst is responsible for supervising and performing management of logistics functions, while performing tasks that affect production, procurement, distribution, inventory and property management. A successful Logistics Analyst at ACI will:
  • Maintain logistics databases in established systems of record.
  • Interpret data for various logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier management, and transportation.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with standard logistics concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Perform systems and process analysis based on receiving reports, situation/progress reports, lessons learned, and after-action reviews.
  • Provide analysis and support to inventory management for special property and equipment.
  • Provide insight to logistics management teams to optimize support, maintain supply chain efficiency, or minimize cost.
  • Utilize available resources to create and maintain reports for management.
  • Perform data input, reconciling document registers with applicable databases to provide reports and related data outputs as requested.
  • Perform systems and process analysis based on receiving reports, situation/progress reports, lessons learned, and after-action reviews.
  • Confer with logistics management teams to optimize support, maintain supply chain efficiency, or minimize cost.
  • Resolve data discrepancies using problem solving skills and established procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Due to the sensitive nature of this work, a Department of War security clearance is required. All applicants must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • High School/GED and greater than 10 years of relevant experience, or
  • Associate's degree and greater than seven (7) years of relevant experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field and greater than five (5) years of relevant experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and understand Logistics Automated Systems.
  • Must have the ability to communicate with executive management to ensure program related issues are addressed.
  • Have the ability to think and act independently in a distributed work situation.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • DAWIA level II certification in Lifecycle Logistics or the equivalent.
