Key Responsibilities
- Perform occupational therapy evaluations for students
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with student plans of care
- Document services, progress, and recommendations accurately and timely
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support students in achieving educational and functional goals
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice
- Must comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
- CPR certification if required
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if required
- Current health certificate if required by contract or state regulation
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year of professional Occupational Therapy experience
- Prior K-12 or school-based experience
- Confidence working independently while collaborating with school teams
