This type of work-work that changes the world-is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLE
As a Software Engineer for our DDI Solutions team, you will drive the architecture and implementation of our enterprise-wide IP Address Management (IPAM) and DDI infrastructure. Collaborating closely with hardware, networking, platform, and SRE teams, you will make complex infrastructure discoverable, automated, and ready for self-service consumption. By transforming core network services into dynamic infrastructure-as-code, you will unlock seamless scaling across global datacenters. Your work directly elevates platform availability, eliminates deployment bottlenecks, and empowers engineering teams across the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Architect and Scale Core Network Services: Design and operate enterprise-wide Python solutions for IPAM, DNS, DHCP, and CMDB platforms to automate network strategies across multi-datacenter environments.
  • Enable Self-Service Infrastructure Automation: Develop robust APIs and workflow orchestrations that integrate DDI with compute, storage, and cloud provisioning pipelines, facilitating automated IP allocation and dynamic recycling for bare-metal and hypervisor workloads.
  • Standardize Network Management as Code: Deliver enterprise-scale, code-driven solutions for managing on-premises datacenter network infrastructure to ensure robust automation and operational consistency.
  • Elevate System Reliability and Observability: Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and telemetry dashboards (using tools like Prometheus and Grafana) to define availability metrics, perform root-cause analyses, and build automated runbooks.
  • Drive Data Integrity as CMDB Steward: Establish automated, code-driven synchronization between physical and virtual network assets and central sources of truth, ensuring system accuracy across all hardware and OS layers.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Production Python Engineering: Deep capability in developing enterprise-grade software and APIs in Python, with a emphasis on clean architecture, maintainability, and automated workflow orchestration.
  • Enterprise DDI and Networking Mastery: Expertise in core network protocols (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) and datacenter networking concepts, with demonstrated success managing infrastructure as code.
  • Automation Infrastructure Expertise: Practical experience applying configuration management tools (such as Ansible or Puppet) to streamline server bootstrapping (PXE), OS deployment, and CMDB integrations.
