Essential Job Duties:

  1. Strategic Planning and Design: Develop and implement network strategies that align with business goals, ensuring scalability, resilience, and future growth.

  2. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior architects, engineers, and other team members.

  3. Network Implementation: Oversee the implementation of network solutions, ensuring they meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.

  4. Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex network issues, identify and remediate performance bottlenecks, and ensure optimal network performance.

  5. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with various teams, including IT, business, and vendors, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and performance metrics.

  7. Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest network technologies and industry trends.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education -- Bachelor's degree in computer science, networking, engineering, or a related field or an equivalent amount of hands-on experience.

Experience -- Minimum of 5 years of IT infrastructure experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field, or

                      -- Minimum of 8 years of IT infrastructure experience without a degree.

    • Indepth knowledge of BGP, dynamic routing protocols, SDWAN architectures, and multipath WAN designs.

  • Network Security & Access Control

    • Strong security mindset with experience implementing 802.1X, AAA (RADIUS/TACACS+), and secure access models.

    • Understanding of Zero Trust principles as applied to enterprise networking.

  • Network Monitoring & Visibility
