Job description

The way people work is being fundamentally reimagined. Enterprises and organizations are moving beyond traditional virtual desktops toward intelligent, cloud-native workspaces that adapt to how people actually work-powered by AI, secured by design, and delivered anywhere. Amazon WorkSpaces is at the forefront of this transformation, offering a portfolio that includes WorkSpaces Personal, WorkSpaces Core, and WorkSpaces Applications. We're not just delivering virtual workspaces-we're building the future of agentic, AI-enhanced work environments that help customer migrate, modernize and look ahead to solutions that employ agentic and AI based features that help anticipate and automate workflows and tasks.
AWS serves millions of customers in more than 190 countries, reshaping the way global enterprises accelerate business capabilities and powering the next generation of industry leaders. As enterprises rethink workforce productivity, security, and agility, the opportunity to define how the world works-literally-has never been greater.
AWS is seeking a Worldwide (WW) GTM Specialist to drive the next chapter of growth for Amazon WorkSpaces. You will shape the strategy for how AWS brings intelligent workspace solutions to market-defining the vision, building compelling customer and GTM/sales strategies, and orchestrating programs that help accelerate customer adoption at scale. You are a strategic thinker who operates with urgency. You combine deep business acumen with enough technical depth to be credible with CIOs and IT leaders. You've built GTM strategies from scratch, rallied cross-functional teams around a shared vision, and delivered measurable business results. You're energized by ambiguity-because that's where the biggest opportunities live.
Key job responsibilities
Define and execute the GTM strategy for Amazon WorkSpaces-identifying high-value customer segments, developing differentiated customer solutions, and building programs that help create new customer pipeline, drive new customer acquisition and accelerate usage of cloud workspaces and applications.
Shape the narrative around the future of intelligent workspaces-positioning AWS as the leader in agentic, AI-enhanced work environments that transform workforce productivity and security.
Engage directly with enterprise leaders and partners to communicate the Amazon WorkSpaces value proposition connecting business challenges to measurable outcomes.
Build and scale lighthouse engagements that generate compelling proof points, then operationalize those wins into repeatable plays for the broader sales organization.
Establish data-driven mechanisms to measure adoption, track program effectiveness, and continuously optimize ROI across the Amazon WorkSpaces portfolio.
Evangelize Amazon WorkSpaces externally through thought leadership, events, and industry engagement-and internally across AWS to drive mindshare and investment.
Own the strategic business development plan, orchestrating key internal stakeholders (sales, product, engineering, legal, support, partners) to align behind a unified growth agenda.
Orchestrate field uptake and execution of key sales plays and programs, delivering value to customers through repeatable mechanisms.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services experience
- 7+ years of business development, strategic partnerships, and/or program/product management experience with national and/or international scope
- 5+ years' experience selling enterprise datacenter and/or application technologies, preferably cloud based
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
- Experience with cloud computing and or related fields (IT, software, etc)
- Complex agreement negotiation skills and experience, and business and financial acumen
- Strong analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to turn detailed data analysis into useful strategic insight in order to drive customer adoption and make appropriate recommendations to the business
- Ability to develop business justifications for cloud technology roadmap adoption
- MBA or equivalent relevant business experience
