Job description

Genesis 10 is seeking a Data Center Operations Technician/Analyst. This is a 6-month on-site contract position with a client located in Crafton, PA.
Compensation: $20.00 - 30.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications

Position Overview:
We are seeking multiple Data Center Operations Analysts to support one of our Enterprise client's Data Center Operations. This role provides critical monitoring and maintenance of physical and network environments in a 24/7/365 setting. Candidates should be self-motivated, punctual, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Monitor physical and environmental conditions of the data center
  • Oversee server systems, network devices, and infrastructure health
  • Perform walkthroughs and routine systems maintenance
  • Use monitoring tools (SolarWinds, OP5, Datadog, Grafana) to detect and respond to alarms
  • Manage ServiceNow tickets and escalate issues as needed
  • Troubleshoot WAN-related issues, latency, bandwidth, and layer 2 switching (VLAN ports, switch setup)
  • Manage ISP vendor coordination and escalations
  • Follow SOPs for incident response and problem resolution
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure operational continuity between shifts
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and sense of urgency

Core Qualifications:
