Lead Network Engineer ( Hybrid )

Responsibilities:

•     Assist onsite deployments and troubleshooting network security, Layer 2 & Layer 3 hardware and software related issues.

•     Extensive troubleshooting of network outages, network performance issues, configuration issues, security issues and high CPU utilization.

•     Perform security risk assessments for clients and provide the findings and recommendations.

•     Analyze, configure, and troubleshoot complex networks.

•     Support Core, distribution, and access layers switches.

•     Work with business unit escalation teams, tools teams and training groups.

•     Configure, analyze, and troubleshoot highly complex networks.

•     Use Cisco’s Routing and Switching platform knowledge (e.g. system architecture, switching, routing, and forwarding issues) and other Cisco devices to work with customers and business partners.

•     Provide troubleshooting, defect management, and training documentation skills.

•     Solve product and network problems of moderate complexity.

•     Day to day management over TEKsystems contractor teams (15-20 resources)

•     Responsible for ensuring all resources adhere to customer safety standards and PPE requirements.

•     Project Management for ongoing deployment/installation programs

•     The management of technician leads (3) spread across the customer’s campus.

•     Process Improvement around onboarding, operations, and invoicing of customer projects

•     Advisory to Bid Management team for new projects.

•     Schedule Management for technicians working on multiple projects.

•     QC Oversight for ongoing projects before handoff to customer

•     Partner with sales to grow additional opportunities within Microsoft.

Requirements:

•     Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.

•     At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

•     Knowledgeable with Network Security, Layer 2 & Layer 3 switching experience in large scale LAN or Datacenter environments.

Computer Skills:

•     Proficient experience in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, Visio and PowerPoint) is desirable.

•     Experience working with Windows and Unix based workstations, shells and other typical network management system platforms.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $97800.00 - $146800.00/yr.

We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
