About The Electricians, LLC

The Electricians, LLC is a family‑owned electrical contractor providing high‑quality electrical services across Colorado. We are growing and looking for Colorado‑licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our commercial construction team.

We are looking for electricians who take pride in clean, code‑compliant installations, can work productively on active jobsites, and understand the importance of safety, schedule, coordination, and communication.

Position Summary

As a Journeyman Electrician on our commercial construction team, you will install and troubleshoot electrical systems on commercial construction projects, tenant improvements, secure facilities, datacenters, and other construction‑based jobsites.

This role is best suited for someone who can read plans, layout work, coordinate with other trades, support apprentices, and complete quality installations without constant supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Install electrical systems on commercial construction, tenant improvement, secure facility, and datacenter projects.
  • Perform rough‑in, trim‑out, fixture installation, equipment connections, and punch‑list work.
  • Bend and install EMT, rigid conduit, MC cable, boxes, panels, switchgear, transformers, lighting controls, and branch circuits.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, panels schedules, and one‑line diagrams.
  • Layout work based on plans, field conditions, and direction from foremen or project managers.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues during construction, remodels, and project closeout.
  • Coordinate with foremen, project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades.
  • Complete installations safely, accurately, on schedule, and in compliance with NEC and local code requirements.
  • Track labor, materials, job progress, and field notes using company job management software.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Support, train, and supervise apprentices or less‑experienced electricians when assigned.
  • Follow all company safety standards, OSHA requirements, and secure job‑site rules.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Colorado Journeyman Electrician License.
  • Commercial electrical construction or tenant improvement experience.
  • Ability to pass required background checks, security screening, and site access requirements for secure facilities.
  • Ability to read and work from commercial electrical plans and specifications.
  • Strong conduit bending and installation skills.
  • Experience with panels, transformers, lighting systems, branch circuits, feeders, and device installation.
  • Working knowledge of NEC and local electrical code requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
  • Reliable, professional, and safety‑focused.
  • Strong communication skills with supervisors, coworkers, contractors, and inspectors.
  • Ability to use mobile apps, scheduling software, or job management tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on secure facilities, military bases, datacenters, or controlled‑access jobsites.
  • Experience leading apprentices or small crews.
  • Tenant improvement and commercial remodeling experience.
  • Ground‑up commercial construction experience.
  • Experience with lighting controls, fire alarm rough‑in, low‑voltage pathways, service equipment, and distribution systems.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Project leadership or foreman track experience.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive hourly pay based on license, experience, and leadership ability.
  • Overtime opportunities.
  • Bonus opportunities.
  • 401(k) options.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid time off.
  • Parental leave.
  • Flexible spending account and health savings account options.
  • Safety equipment provided.
  • Professional development assistance.
  • Tuition reimbursement.
  • Referral bonuses for bringing in qualified electricians.
  • Stable, year‑round work.
Schedule
  • Monday–Friday.
  • 8‑hour shifts.
  • Overtime as needed.
  • Occasional nights or weekends depending on project schedule.
  • Secure jobsites may require additional screening, badging, orientation, or access approval.
Why Join The Electricians, LLC?
  • Family‑owned company with a team‑first culture.
  • Steady commercial construction, secure facility, and tenant improvement workload.
  • Opportunity to work on high‑profile controlled‑access projects.
  • Professional standards without corporate red tape.
  • Opportunity to grow into lead, foreman, project management, or Master Electrician roles.
  • Support for electricians who want to improve their skills and advance their careers.
  • A company that values craftsmanship, safety, communication, and accountability.
Employment Requirements

Employment is contingent upon license verification, background check results, driving record review where applicable, and approval for required job‑site access. Continued assignment to secure projects is subject to maintaining access eligibility.
