Job description

Job Summary:
CACI International Inc is seeking a cleared Sr. Systems (Database) Administrator to support a virtualized environment running various database technologies at Langley AFB. The role involves maintaining databases, implementing automatic jobs, and ensuring system integrity while providing technical guidance to junior personnel.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Maintain databases running on Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or newer, as well as assist with migrations from older versions of SQL software.
โ€ข Build and implement automatic jobs, including but not limited to, server and job maintenance and sustainment, data archiving, and backup creation.
โ€ข Maintain and operate a virtualized data center using VMWare with Dell/EMC server and storage hardware.
โ€ข Install, support, and maintain servers by tuning system performance, system wide software configuration and allocation of mass storage space.
โ€ข Responsible for the integrity, confidentiality, availability of information systems through patch management to include antivirus installation and signature file updates and data archival/restoral.
โ€ข Respond and resolve service outages, technical queries, and other system related issues.
โ€ข Conduct systems analysis and development to keep systems as current as possible with changing technology.
โ€ข Update and document configuration management and troubleshoot any reported problems.
โ€ข Resolve and track trouble tickets utilizing Serena Business Manager.
โ€ข Provide technical guidance to Tier 1 and 2 personnel.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข MUST have Active TS/SCI
โ€ข Minimum of 6 yearsโ€™ relevant experience as both a Windows System Administrator and Database Administrator
โ€ข Security + CE certification
โ€ข Experience with the majority of the following technologies: Windows Server 2019+, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), PostgreSQL 16.X+, VMWare, T-SQL, PowerShell
Preferred:
