Job description

We are looking for a SQL Server DBA with AWS and Data Warehouse experience to join our team. This is a direct hire. No C2C and third party please.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and support of database projects on-premises or hosted in the cloud.

  • Ensure the operational reliability, integrity and performance of all production databases.

  • Perform back-up and recovery of existing databases along with performance monitoring and tuning.

  • Perform database installations and upgrades and ensure the security of PII, PHI and HIPAA data.

  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions along with periodic maintenances, fixes and patches of databases.

  • Document packages, views, table structures, data dictionaries, and standard operating procedures.

  • Support concurrent database users while implementing audit, balance, controls, security, and data integrity.


Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in DBMS systems analysis and programming.

  • 5 to 7 years of experience using current DBMS technologies, application design utilizing various database management systems and experience with DBMS internals.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Python, AWS Lambda, SSIS and SSMS.
