WHO YOU ARE:

You are a highly motivated Oracle Applications Database Administrator who plays a key role in supporting the enterprise ERP architecture. You take senior-level responsibility for the overall health, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle ERP environments. In this role, you collaborate closely with the DEAMS PMO and System Integrator and ensure that the enterprise applications you support align with organizational strategy and performance goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Implement and support highly complex, reliable, and scalable database architecture to meet the product needs for the DEAMS program.
  • Provides daily Database, Oracle Applications and application administration, support and troubleshooting for the DEAMS Production and test environments.
  • Supports a variety of Oracle products to include Oracle Database 12g and 19g, Oracle Applications 12c, Single Signon (SSO), Discoverer 11g, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Concurrent Manager Application Server and Oracle Service Orientated Architecture (SOA).
  • Provides Tier II support for DEAMS. Works tickets assigned in ServiceNow by DEAMS helpdesk
  • Installs patches and/or configuration changes to the DEAMS Production, PreProduction and other test environments as directed by the DEAMS Program Management Office.
  • Identifies and redlines errors in deployment documents for Configuration Management purposes.
  • Interprets problems and provides technical support for hardware, software, and systems; provides direct support to resolve Tier II trouble calls.
  • Provides support, administration and troubleshooting for the Solaris Supercluster environments at DISA Ogden and DISA Oklahoma City. Supporting 190+ Operating Environments daily.
  • Perform system analysis on database, and resolve performance, capacity, and application issues as necessary.
  • Provide training to the team members in database concepts and performance.
  • WHAT WE REQUIRE:Minimum Qualifications:
  • Clearance Level: Active Secret at minimum and Security+ Certification
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in the design, development and maintenance of enterprise level systems such as Oracle EBS (11i/R12), Onprem/cloud Oracle Applications (Agile, ASCP, ERP, GTM, Quality, MES and others), Oracle RDBMS 10g and higher and/or other Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL and others).
  • Extensive handson experience in largescale enterprise level databases and software architecture design, development and maintenance including rapid prototyping and complete product development cycle.
  • Experience with the Oracle’s Application Development Framework and Data Modeling concepts.
  • Administration of Oracle Databases for Oracle 11g, 12c, test and production environments.
  • Experience in systems/databases/techstack/applications performance tuning and publishing product benchmarks.
  • Maintains Oracle databases required for testing and production usage within a large enterprise.
  • Perform installations, upgrades and configurations, including new versions of the Oracle RDBMS and all tools that access the Oracle database.
  • Perform database reorganizations as required to improve performance and ensure maximum up time of the database.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in the design, development and maintenance of enterprise level systems such as Oracle EBS (11i/R12), Onprem/cloud Oracle Applications (Agile, ASCP, ERP, GTM, Quality, MES and others), Oracle RDBMS 10g and higher and/or other Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL and others).
