The Leadership Programs team within the Talent organization creates immersive learning experiences for leaders from across the company to learn more about our business, discuss key business challenges, and explore the values they bring to their leadership at Netflix.
We're looking for a manager based in our Los Angeles or Los Gatos office to manage day-to-day operations for all Leadership Programs offerings. The ideal person is adaptive, energized about taking on many things at once, and has strong judgement, organizational, and prioritization skills.
What you'll do:
Leadership Seminars Operations Support (70%)
  • In-person seminar operations
    • Build and manage annual leadership seminar slate and schedule (70+ events/year), including deciding the right mix of U.S. and international locations
    • Design and run demand-driven leader registration process for annual seminar slate
    • Source and manage vendor and vendors relationships and related costs
    • Ensure excellent end-to-end participant experience, including comms, event logistics and management, venue/vendor quality, and seminar accessibility
    • Build and manage CRM and GenAI tools for event management workflows, and seminar analytics and database
    • Ensure awareness of Leadership Programs offerings across Talent Org and the wider business

VP and Team Support (30%)
  • VP Support
    • Prepare and manage overall program budget and expenses, keeping VP informed of budget variances
    • Build and manage VP analytics dashboard
    • Support custom seminar work, including liaison with client support team
  • Team Support
    • Plan agenda content for semi-annual team retreats
    • Plan agenda content for weekly team syncs, as well as LP Leadership Team syncs (2x/month)

Team Management
  • Manage team of:
    • 2 Event Planners
    • 1 Operations Specialist

Who you are:
  • 10-15+ years of experience, including in a global business setting
  • Strong background in event logistics
  • Experience leading and managing a team
  • Excellent written/oral communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities independently and proactively
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and calm under pressure
  • Good judgment and discretion
  • Passionate about the mission of the Leadership Programs team
  • Sensitive to working across cultures and backgrounds
  • Comfortable with occasional domestic and international travel
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, CRMs and databases (Airtable, Salesforce), etc.
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools (Claude Cowork, Gemini)
  • International experience a plus - time spent living or working outside of the U.S.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $228,000.00 - $345,000.00.
