Job description

Position Overview OSAAVA Services is seeking a Graph Database Engineer to support the development and implementation of mission-relevant data models within an Air Force Modeling and Simulation environment. This role will focus on designing and implementing graph-based data architectures to support complex data relationships across mission systems, modeling frameworks, and operational datasets. The selected candidate will contribute to the development of scalable graph database solutions supporting C2 and C4ISR mission systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with graph database technologies, complex data relationships, and modeling environments supporting Department of Defense programs. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop graph-based data models supporting mission systems and operational datasets
• Implement and maintain graph database solutions using ArangoDB or comparable graph database platforms
• Develop and optimize AQL queries to support efficient data retrieval and system performance
• Integrate graph database architectures into modeling and simulation environments
• Support data modeling efforts for C2 / C4ISR mission systems
• Collaborate with engineering and modeling teams to ensure data architecture supports mission analysis and simulation requirements
• Optimize graph database performance and scalability across complex data environments Required Qualifications • Direct experience with ArangoDB (preferred) or comparable graph database technologies
