Job description

Title: Database Analyst
Reports To: Controller
Location: Fort Meyers, FL
The purpose of the Database Analyst will be to support the finance team in the data base analysis and market research, in order to identify market trends and participate in the development of actions plans aimed at implementing new strategies. This individual is responsible for ensuring data is presented in a clear and actionable manner while supporting site managers with information that assists their decision making.
Job Duties
  • Process database extractions, analyze and interpret them to better advise decision-making
  • Collects and processes data to provide relevant business recommendations by interpreting data
  • Use the information gathered to facilitate decision-making at the executive level
  • Find new ways of operating and processing data with new tools, so that relevant data is collected and action taken
  • Build reports from Business Intelligence and Web Analytics to provide the teams in place with a coherent vision on the results of activities of the products and their technical functioning
  • Ensure the correct interpretation and dissemination of analysis reports resulting from BI and Web Analytics
  • Creation of reports and analyzes, based on the quest for data and research in the market, so as to build clear recommendations adapted to the market
  • Identification and analysis of market trends and trends internally, based on research and data analysis
  • Work with management to implement management strategies / actions based on internal data analysis and market research
  • Other related tasks as assigned

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in the field
  • Proficiency with MS Excel
  • Bachelor of Business Administration / related field
  • Experience in marketing / customer relationship - an asset
  • Knowledge of statistical / datamining language (SAS, SPSS, VBA, ACCES) - an asset
  • Knowledge of Web Analytics tools - an asset
