Job Description

Experienced with SQL Server 2008R2/2012/2014 database management 

Understanding of new features coming with SQL 2016 preview 

Solid understanding of SQL Server replication and high-availability solutions, including SQL Server failover clustering, AlwaysOn, log shipping, and database mirroring 

Must be a hands-on, technically adept DBA, capable of performing required DBA tasks such as backup/restore, clustering/replication setup, patching and automation 

Knowledgeable of powershell / puppet 

Strong troubleshooting/performance tuning skills 

Ability to diagnose problems, triage and resolve issues across various tiers (application, network, database, server, or storage tiers) 

Experience with configuration management tools a plus 

Self-starter who's highly motivated and energetic 

Solid communication skills. Able to effectively deliver messages to both technical and non-technical audiences 

Ability to thrive in fast-paced, but flexible and collaborative work environment.
