Job Description

Title:   Database Developer( Locals preferred)

Location: Richardson, TX 
Duration: Contract 3-6+ months plus extension ( GC/Citizens)
Rate : DOE

SUMMARY: The position is responsible for design, development and implementation of order entry system enhancements.

This position will be responsible for maintaining the Oracle data base that supports the Sterling application. It requires excellent analysis skills to translate data from business documents and data from other platforms into the Oracle Sterling data base. This position requires excellent SQL skills


Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive IT experience, including 5 years of application development
  • Experience with SQL and PL/SQL to support and maintain products in Oracle Databases
  • Some experience with Unix Scripting (Bourne shells)
  • Some experience with JAVA programmer developing web based applications with Oracle databases.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
