Job Summary:
Payactiv is seeking an experienced Database Developer to join our dynamic Engineering team. You will play a crucial role in developing, testing, improving, and maintaining both new and existing databases to ensure efficient and effective data retrieval.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and maintain new and existing databases to ensure efficient data retrieval and management
• Collaborate closely with developers, administrators, and clients to provide technical support and identify new requirements
• Ensure system consistency and reliability by adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Design and implement database solutions, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views using T-SQL
• Produce high-quality code and resolve complex design and architecture issues
• Perform database performance tuning, diagnose and troubleshoot errors, and recommend emerging database technologies
• Create and manage comprehensive database reports, visualizations, and dashboards
• Automate recurring database tasks to improve efficiency
• Maintain and enforce database standards, ensuring data integrity and security
• Utilize PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills for database automation and management
• Implement SSIS and SSRS for data integration and reporting
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking in resolving technical challenges
Qualifications:
Required:
