Job Description

ADGA is currently seeking to connect with Software Developers for an anticipated upcoming project. This is a proactive recruitment initiative, with potential start dates in the coming weeks or months, contingent on contract award.

In this role, successful candidates will be responsible for all stages of development, application/database design, programming, testing, and related documentation. This role will work within a collaborative team environment to design, develop, and deliver high-quality application modules. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, architectural, and business requirements.

General tasks: 

  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices;
  • Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices;
  • Develop Oracle databases to support web applications and web sites;
  • Develop PL/SQL code to support web applications and web sites;
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases;
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs; and
  • Create and maintain software documentation.
Qualifications
  • Must have at least 5 years of progressive experience as a Software Developer developing web-based applications with an Oracle Database for complex projects/environments.
  • Must have 12+ months of experience designing (GUI) and developing (Coding) and developing websites using ASP.NET / C# and JavaScript
  • Must have 12+ months of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio, or Azure DevOps.
  • Must have 12+ months of experience developing Oracle 12c, 18c, 19c, 21c databases, including PL/SQL programming. Experience should include designing, coding, testing and debugging, and producing related documentation
  • Must have 12+ months of experience with Web Technologies using the following applications: JavaScript and frameworks (Angular, Vue, React etc.) - JSON, HTML5, and CSS3 - RESTful API development and integration
  • Self-driven with the ability to seek out requirements with minimal direction; and
  • Individual contributor and team player with excellent verbal/written communication skills.

Additional Information
  • Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain an Enhanced Reliability (Level I) Canadian Federal Government Security clearance.
  • The successful candidates will be expected to work remotely - but may be required to attend in-person meetings
