Sales & Marketing Intern (Summer Internship)

Company: Early Morning Software / PRiSM Compliance Management

Location: Hybrid (Sales) + Remote (Marketing) - flexible based on candidate and team needs

Dates: June 1 – July 31

Interviews: Week of May 4th

Compensation: Paid internship ($3500 stipend)

Time commitment: Full-time 30-35hrs per week (with potential flexibility by project and schedule)

Candidate profile: Current students (rising Sophomores / Juniors / Seniors)

Laptop Required

Target majors: Business, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Communications, Public Policy, Computer Science (or related), Information Systems.

Role Summary

Early Morning Software is seeking a Sales & Marketing Intern to support outreach, pipeline development, and marketing/communications initiatives for PRiSM Compliance Management-an all-in-one compliance solution that helps public agencies and small businesses achieve small business participation goals. Our technology streamlines compliance processes, enhances transparency, and drives meaningful impact across industries.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work on real projects across sales support and digital marketing, helping grow our pipeline, strengthen our brand, and improve internal processes. Students who are curious, organized, creative, and excited about using AI to innovate workflows will do well in this role.

What You'll Do

Sales / Outreach (Pipeline Support)

Nurture and support the sales pipeline (research, follow-ups, organization, and next-step tracking)

Research prospective clients/partners and compile concise briefings

Support outreach follow-ups and meeting scheduling coordination (as needed)

Maintain CRM hygiene (clean records, notes from calls/meetings, contact updates, task tracking)

Marketing / Communications

Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels

Create engaging content for social media, email newsletters, blogs, and website updates

Support brand storytelling and messaging initiatives

Conduct market research and analyze trends to inform strategy

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on marketing and communications projects

Help track campaign performance and prepare reports

Operations / AI Enablement (Cross-Functional)

Assist with creation of marketing materials and outreach collateral (drafts, one-pagers, templates, email sequences, follow-up assets)

Contribute to AI process innovation (identify repetitive workflows and propose/assist with automation or AI-assisted improvements)

Attend internal and external meetings to capture notes, action items, and next steps

What We're Looking For

Current student in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Public Policy, Computer Science, or a related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools

Research skills and comfort synthesizing information into clear notes/briefings

Proactive attitude and willingness to learn; comfortable working across multiple functions

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience with Canva, Final Cut Pro, Adobe, or other digital media/design platforms

Basic knowledge of or background in software development lifecycle or database systems
