Position Overview:The Dynatrace Deployment Automation Engineer will support a 14 week strategy and enablement engagement focused on automating Dynatrace OneAgent deployments through an approved ServiceNow capability. This individual will assess the current ServiceNow environment, help define deployment architecture and standards, collect deployment metadata requirements, and develop scalable automation workflows to support enterprise observability initiatives.

The resource will contribute to planning, analysis, automation development, pilot validation activities, production readiness preparation, documentation, knowledge transfer, and future state recommendations supporting Dynatrace and ServiceNow IT Operations Management integration efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the current ServiceNow environment and existing deployment processes
  • Define deployment architecture, governance standards, and automation approaches for Dynatrace OneAgent deployment
  • Collect and document metadata requirements including host groups, tags, deployment context, and operational standards
  • Design, develop, and validate reusable automation workflows using approved ServiceNow capabilities
  • Support pilot deployment execution and validation activities
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders to establish production readiness criteria
  • Create technical documentation, operational procedures, and deployment standards
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with operations and engineering teams
  • Provide recommendations for future state Dynatrace and ServiceNow integration opportunities
  • Support enterprise observability enablement initiatives and automation best practices

Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing and supporting Dynatrace OneAgent deployments
  • Experience with ServiceNow automation capabilities and workflow development
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow IT Operations Management concepts and practices
  • Experience designing enterprise deployment pipelines and automation frameworks
  • Understanding of metadata modeling, tagging strategies, and configuration management
  • Experience planning and supporting platform integrations
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional technical and business teams
  • Experience supporting enterprise observability or monitoring initiatives is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
