Database Administrator (DBA)

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Position Summary

The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the planning, design, implementation, administration, maintenance, security, and performance optimization of enterprise database environments. This role provides technical leadership and consulting support for database architecture, integration, tuning, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and data management initiatives supporting mission-critical business applications.

  • Design, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise database systems.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and patch database platforms and related software.
  • Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to optimize system efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.

  • Perform database capacity planning and storage management.
  • Support application development teams with database design and optimization activities.
