Job Summary:
Veracity Software Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to provide technical expertise in managing enterprise database environments. The role involves database architecture, performance tuning, and collaborating with various teams to ensure optimal database performance.
Responsibilities:
• provide technical expertise in the planning, design, development, implementation, administration, optimization, and support of enterprise database environments supporting critical City applications and business operations.
• responsible for database architecture, installation, configuration, performance tuning, capacity planning, backup and recovery, security administration, database upgrades, and integration activities.
• work closely with application developers, systems administrators, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure database systems remain secure, reliable, scalable, and high performing.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of Database Administration experience.
• Experience administering enterprise database platforms.
• Experience with database installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Experience supporting Oracle databases.
• Experience performing database performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience implementing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience supporting database upgrades, migrations, and patching activities.
• Experience with database security administration and access controls.
• Experience supporting high-availability and mission-critical environments.
• Experience troubleshooting complex database performance and operational issues.
• Experience supporting application integrations and database interfaces.
• Strong database administration expertise.
• Strong database design and data modeling skills.
• Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.
