Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Database Engineer with strong expertise in PostgreSQL and SQL Server, along with exposure to Oracle and automation using Ansible. The role involves managing, optimizing, and automating database environments to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and administer PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases across environments
  • Perform database tuning, performance optimization, and query optimization
  • Manage backup, recovery, replication, and high availability setups
  • Automate database provisioning and configuration using Ansible
  • Monitor database health and troubleshoot performance or availability issues
  • Support database migrations, upgrades, and patching activities
  • Work closely with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
  • Ensure database security, access control, and compliance standards
Technical Skills Required Core Database Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience in: PostgreSQL (Primary skill)
  • Strong hands-on experience in: Microsoft SQL Server
  • Working knowledge of: Oracle (Good to have)
