Description

The Land Administration Manager manages the fast-paced day-to-day activities of the Land Administration Department by supporting the Land Administration and Documents Supervisors and their teams, coordinates all training activities for the Department, and assists the Department’s Managing Director with special tasks and projects.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manages and supports team members working on 100+ projects simultaneously.
  • Learn, train, and follow extensive department processes.
  • Ensure project and department deadlines are met.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure QA/QC standards are met.
  • Review contracts and title documents.
  • Review and analyze complex title information and documents, LTC, and title opinions.
  • QA/QC database entries related to land and title information.
  • Provide answers to project-related questions for document generation, letter mailouts, and land title.
  • Provide project status updates to the Managing Director of Land Administration.
  • Works with project managers to ensure compliance with project and client requirements.
  • Assist the Managing Director of the Land Administration Department with special tasks and projects as needed.
  • Coordinate and assist in developing specialized training and processes for the Land Administration Department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years direct management or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to coordinate teams, organize workload, adjust to changing priorities, and work well under pressure.
  • Possess effective communication skills, attention to detail, time management skills, and extensive analytical skills.
  • Conflict resolution.
  • Working knowledge of land projects (Upstream Oil & Gas, Midstream, T&D, Renewable Energy, Renewable Natural Gas).
  • Database experience, with ability to learn new databases quickly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Basic knowledge of land title, surface and minerals preferred, with ability to read and understand property descriptions.
  • Basic mapping skills or knowledge, preferred.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.

  • Spends 50%-100% of the time in an office environment.
  • Is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
