Job Description We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle Database administration, Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Exadata, and Oracle GoldenGate replication and a proven ability to maintain high availability, optimize performance, secure platforms, and automate operations across on-premises and cloud environments. Responsibilities: Administer Oracle Database environments (19c, 23ai, and future releases) across production, non-production, Exadata, and cloud platforms. Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, migrations, and lifecycle management. Administer Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager environments. Manage database refreshes, cloning, Data Pump exports/imports, and routine maintenance. Design, implement, configure, and support Oracle GoldenGate replication, including Classic and Microservices Architecture (MA). Execute GoldenGate upgrades, patching, monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning. Troubleshoot replication latency, extract/replicat failures, trail file issues, and data consistency problems. Support enterprise data movement, migration, and synchronization initiatives using GoldenGate technologies. Monitor and optimize database performance with SQL tuning, AWR/ASH analysis, and execution plan reviews. Identify and resolve database bottlenecks impacting application performance. Support high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity, and recovery testing. Conduct root cause analysis for database, Exadata, and replication incidents. Implement database security best practices including user provisioning, roles, auditing, encryption, and secure credentials. Support CyberArk and enterprise credential vaulting for privileged account management. Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and governance standards; support vulnerability remediation and audits. Develop automation using Shell, Python, Ansible, or equivalent to improve operational efficiency and self-healing. Develop and maintain operational documentation, standards, procedures, and governance controls. Participate in on-call rotations and production incident management processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7+ years of Oracle Database Administration in large-scale enterprise environments. Expertise with Oracle Database 19c/23ai, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, OEM, and Exadata. Extensive Oracle GoldenGate experience, including Classic and Microservices Architecture and 23ai. Proficiency in replication monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Strong SQL performance tuning, AWR/ASH analysis, query optimization, and capacity planning skills. Experience with production issue resolution and database diagnostics in mission-critical environments. Preferred Skills: Experience with Remedy or equivalent Incident and Change Management tools. Hands-on with Toad and Oracle Enterprise Manager; knowledge of Exadata Smart Scan and HCC Compression. Scripting with Shell, Python, Ansible, or similar technologies. Familiarity with CyberArk and enterprise credential management solutions. Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and cloud migration projects. Background supporting large-scale financial services or mission-critical enterprise applications. Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and automation platforms; modernization and cloud adoption programs. Oracle certifications such as OCP or OCE. Experience in global 24x7 production environments and on-call operations. Additional Details: Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
